Hasegawa 1/700 IJN Aircraft Carrier Akagi

This waterline model was a gift from one of my daughters last Christmas and I just got around to building it. It went together pretty quick and I had fun with it.

Have you ever gamed with these 1/700 ships?

Looks cool. Though I always thought it strange that Japanese Carriers put a large target on their flight deck. 😁

Was it a case of "oh, I got this last Christmas, so I better open it soon?"

That is a beauty Vol. It must have been nice to work on something larger than 1/2400th for change. Were there many fiddly bits?

This one wasn't too bad Lawrence. Now that Mikasa I built last year was horrible with near microscopic bits to place. And yes it was a nice change.

Haha, yes that was exactly it! Nice to see you back on the blogs.

No, not these. 1/700 sailing vessels yes.
