Hello all, not doing much at the hobby hobby desk this winter. I did, however, copy this old vintage card model of the Mayflower from Pinterest and printed it on some card stock. It took about an hour to build and doesn't look half bad IMO. Tell me what you think!

Really nice result. I´ve tried Card boats and planes in the past but my results were no way as good Looking as yours.
Thanks Paul, I apreciate the comment. I am really glad you stopped by, it made me take a look at your blog. It has been a long while, and wow you've been busy! I love the conversions you are doing. I have done nothing but ships for so long I'm not sure if my eyes are still good enough to do minis. Really enjoyed catching up on your activity.
Great job Vol. was the rigging also part of the card set or did you add that?
In fact, I kept waiting to read how such n such detail wasn’t right so you drew up a replacement on the computer and printed out your own new piece on special card stock... 😀
Haha! Funny Stew, ok I admit I'm a bit OCD about that stuff sometimes. No, this one was straight from the print with no changes. I added the rigging though 😉
Fantastic work Vol. I feel confident that this is the most beautiful rendition of this particular paper kit in its history. Top notch job.
Hahaha! Thanks James, not only do you build beautiful ships, you also know how to blow smoke! BTW when is your next ship?
