Black Seas American 44-gun Frigate USS Constitution

This one is the third of the Warlord Games Black Seas US fleet 44-gun frigates I have now finished. I used the kit anchors and quarter davit boats. The stern mounted and stacked boats are 3-D printed. The masts, spars, sails, and base are scratch built.

1/700 Scale 10 Gun Sloop

 After making the naval cutter from the Black Seas generic brig, I wanted something a little sleeker and not so unrealistically broad. I thought about it quite a bit and decided War Artisan's 10 gun sloop was just the ticket. I had already made one in 1/300 and 1/1200 scales, so why not a 1/700 scale model. So here it is, complete with protruding guns at quarters and mounted on one of the new acrylic bases I am making for the BS ships now. Hope you like it.

Black Seas USS Constellation Part 2

 Here is the completed Black Seas USS Constellation. Again the modifications include installing rigging tie-off rails at the base of each mast, quarter boat davits, cut away the plastic spars and replaced with steel rod at the proper angle for a quarter wind, extended the fighting tops, topgallant mast platforms, and finally a custom dolphin striker. And one more thing, I decided to do scratch sails.
