First Black Seas Fleet Pack Arrived

I have been drooling over the fantastic work being done by some of my blogger buds on the Black Seas 1/700 scale ship models being issued by Warlord Games.
So I broke down and ordered a couple of fleet packs. The first one arrived and my wife brought it home today from the Post Office.

I can't wait to get into it, but I have to finish the little Langton Great Lakes sloop I started first!

I also got a black seas box for Christmas from a friend. Very generous. Though I’m not sure what to do with it bc it’s such a larger scale than my langtons. The hulls are very cool but I don’t like the ratlines included. And I didn’t like the rules very much.
Though I would be very keen on seeing what you do with you these ships. 😀

I have been watching what guys like JJ https://jjwargames.blogspot.com/2020/04/all-at-sea-on-stocks-in-jjs-dockyard.html?m=1
And Jeff https://www.thewargameswebsite.com/forums/topic/1-700th-frigate/
are doing with theirs and I just had to have a try. While the base for my little sloop was drying last night I washed and de-sprued one of the plastic frigates. They come with three different stern galleries and stems with figureheads. My US Navy swt comes with three metal sterns, one each for Chesapeake, Congress & Constellation and the figureheads to match. So the three 38 gun frigates will be those ships. And I will have sterns and stems for nine more scratch frigates....maybe if I get round to it? The two 44's are resin with all metal parts United States and President. Then there are six brigs. 😏
