Black Seas American 44-gun Frigate USS Constitution

This one is the third of the Warlord Games Black Seas US fleet 44-gun frigates I have now finished. I used the kit anchors and quarter davit boats. The stern mounted and stacked boats are 3-D printed. The masts, spars, sails, and base are scratch built.

Fabulous craftsmanship, Vol!

Terrific stuff Vol. It does look amazingly fiddly, but very ingenious.

Thanks Lawrence. It is fiddly, but rewarding therapy.

We should! Is your summer ranch work slowing down with the arrival of fall? Part of Shiloh is on the table.

It is and that sounds like loads of fun!

Love the look of a ship hanging all its sails. 😀

Thanks Stew. I even thought about adding stay sails but decided this is enough!

Splendid looking Frigate! I really like the ratline jig, is it adjustable?

Thanks Iain, much appreciated. The jig is only adjustable in that I can print any size that I need. Have you tackled that Montrose box yet?
